Community Terms
Version 1.0 · Last revised 26 October 2026
These terms apply to the Sublunar Discord server, which we call the Lounge, and to the Sublunar Official bot. By applying, joining or staying in the server you agree to them, together with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. The website terms cover sublunar.ai; the Sublunar app has its own licence shown when you install it.
The short version
- The Lounge is apply to join. A person reads every application. We accept or decline at our discretion, and we can say no without giving a reason.
- Be decent. No harassment, no spam, no selling things, no sharing other people's private information.
- Beta builds and unreleased details stay in the room until we release them publicly.
- You own what you post. You let us show it inside the server, and you let us use your feedback to make Sublunar better.
- Breaking the rules gets a warning, a timeout or removal, in that order unless it is serious. You can appeal in a ticket.
1. Who we are
The server and the bot are run by Sublunar, a project of Buildable Labs, Romania ("Sublunar", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@sublunar.ai. How we handle your data is in the Community Privacy Policy.
2. Applying and membership
- Membership is by application. You answer three short questions; a team member reads them within 24 hours in normal weeks.
- Acceptance is at our discretion. We keep the Lounge small on purpose, and a decline is not a judgement of you. If we decline, your place on the waitlist is kept and we may invite you when the next cohort opens.
- Accepted members get a cohort number. Numbers are permanent, personal, not transferable, and have no monetary value.
- One person, one account. Alternate accounts, shared accounts and accounts applying on behalf of someone else are removed.
- You must meet Discord's minimum age for your country. Beta builds may require a higher age, stated when they are offered.
- You can leave at any time. We can end membership at any time for a breach of these terms, for Discord's rules, or if we close the server, and we will say which.
3. House rules
These are the rules of the room. The guidelines channel repeats them in short form.
- Be decent. No harassment, hate, threats, or targeting of any person or group. Disagree with ideas, not with people.
- No spam, no selling. No unsolicited promotion, referral links, crypto, or recruitment. Showing your own work in the showcase channel is welcome; pitching it in every channel is not.
- Privacy of others. Never post someone else's personal information, private messages, or screenshots of private channels without their consent.
- Right channel, right thing. Builds talk in builds, bugs in feedback, questions in help, everything else in the lounge.
- Keep it legal. No pirated software, no malware, no content that breaks the law in Romania, the EU, or Discord's rules.
- Name only. Team members appear by name and title, not by face. Do not ask for or post photos of the team.
- Say what you think, plainly. Honest feedback is why the room exists. Be direct about the product and kind about the person.
4. Beta builds and unreleased information
- Builds shared in the server are pre-release software. They may be incomplete, change without notice, or stop working. They are provided as they are, for testing, without any warranty.
- Builds, build links, screenshots of unreleased features, roadmap details and anything marked as internal stay inside the server until we make them public. Do not redistribute builds or invite links.
- Do not attempt to extract, reverse engineer or redistribute model weights or other components except where their own open licence allows it.
- We may remove access to builds at any time, for everyone or for one person.
5. Your content and your feedback
- You own what you post. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store and display it inside the server for as long as it is there, which is what running a Discord server requires.
- If we want to feature something you posted outside the server, for example a showcase project on the website, we will ask you first and credit you the way you choose.
- Feedback, bug reports, ideas and suggestions you give us may be used freely to improve Sublunar, without any obligation to you and without payment. We will not claim you said something you did not.
- Do not post content you do not have the right to post.
6. Moderation and appeals
- The team may remove messages, apply timeouts, remove roles, or remove members to enforce these terms. The normal order is a warning, then a timeout, then removal. Serious cases, such as harassment, doxxing, malware or threats, skip straight to removal.
- Moderation actions are logged, with the reason. You can ask what the reason was.
- To appeal, open a ticket in the server or email hello@sublunar.ai within 30 days. A different team member than the one who acted reviews it where possible. The decision after appeal is final.
- Report rule breaks in the report channel or by ticket. Reports are private.
7. The bot
The Sublunar Official bot runs applications, tickets, logs and announcements. It acts only inside this server. It does not read direct messages and does not send you messages you did not ask for, apart from the accept or decline notice after you apply and replies to tickets you opened.
8. No guarantees
The Lounge is a community, not a support contract or a service with uptime. We may change channels, roles, cohorts or features, pause the server, or close it. We will tell you in the announcements channel when something significant changes. Nothing here creates a partnership, employment or agency relationship between you and Sublunar.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sublunar is not liable for loss arising from your use of the server, of beta builds, or of content posted by other members. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Romania. If you are a consumer in the EU you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and you may bring a claim there. We would rather talk first: write to hello@sublunar.ai and we will try to sort it out.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. For a change that matters to members, we post it in the announcements channel at least 7 days before it takes effect. Staying in the server after that date means you accept the change.
